Antelope Canyon
This was my third trip to Antelope Canyon, the prettiest slot canyon in the Southwest IMHO.  The first was by myself back in the fall of 2000,  I shot several rolls of Fuji Velvia slide film and vowed to go back again.  My 2nd trip was with my best friend Mindi in the spring of 2004.  My camera had broken the day before and Mindi's camera was just a point-n-shoot so needless to say we didn't come out with any wonderful photos.  But I loved going to the canyon anyway just to run my fingers along its smooth walls and experience the realm of color.  This time I went with my mom, dad, and sister and was armed with a digital camera so I shot like crazy and came away with a few good photos

(One day I will go in the summertime and get some good shots of the light beams that come down when the sun is directly overhead...)

At Antelope Marina, we're standing at the edge of Glen Canyon, a 500 foot drop-off, that just happens to be underwater because of Lake Powell

The ride back down the wash was a fast one!  This dog certainly enjoyed the journey :)
