| Big changes in store! July 1, 2007 I got a job promotion and Todd and I will be relocating southwards... to the San Bernardino National Forest, Rancho Cucamonga area! Don't worry, all you Springville-area folks, I will keep all these local hikes and sites to see on my website, but I will probably be tweaking the layout of my site a little bit to reflect the new area in which I will be living. I am excited! This is certainly not the first time I've moved, it's simply another leg on my journey through life, another place to discover and explore, another adventure... And no doubt I will have to come back to visit now and then to see my big trees :) But I will now have easier access to the eastern Sierra where I grew up and I am excited to do some more backpacking up there as well as in my new backyard. The San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains are beckoning me with all of their trails, and one of my favorite spots, Joshua Tree NP, will be just a hop, skip, and a jump away! Best of all we'll now be close to my parents who live in northern San Diego county but still not far from Todd's family. In fact, we'll be almost exactly half-way in between them now, we couldn't have planned it any better! Anyway, stay tuned for new adventures in new places... We're planning to move about two weeks from now! |
