In Todd's old neighborhood, Blackie was an older street-smart cat that wandered around but ate at Todd's place every night. When Todd moved in with me we decided to bring along Blackie. He's adjusting to his new home and neighborhood quite well.
Above is a classic photo of Blackie - he's a very vocal cat, especially when he's hungry! And he has a really long unmistakable monotone, "Meeeeeeeeeooooooooooooow." He's a very affectionate cat who, apparently, likes to have his photo taken. He loves to be pet and also to go to sleep on your lap. He's constantly underfoot when you go outside, so if you come to visit, watch out for Blackie and be careful not to trip!
Update: Since we couldn't have outdoor cats where we live now, Blackie is now living the good life with Todd's mom. She lives in a house in a rural area near Lake Isabella with horses, dogs, another cat, and even a pot-bellied pig! Anyway, Blackie is reportedly doing well in his new home :)
