Canyon de Chelley NM, AZ
On day ten we drove to Hovenweep National Monument and hiked to Hovenweep Castle.  We then drove to Four Corners, but it was closed!  So we went on to Canyon de Chelley and stayed the night at Spider Rock Campground.  It was our coldest night yet; it got down to 8 degrees!
"After leaving Utah, we spent about 10 minutes in Colorado and pulled up at Four Corners Monument at 5:17 p.m., which is only open 8:00 am-5:00 pm.  Who'd have thought that you can only stand and touch four states at once for only nine hours a day - never at night?  We're all pretty disappointed.

So we then spent about 6 minutes in New Mexico being disappointed, then turned back around and went into Arizona.  Headed towards Canyon de Chelley and it's getting dark."
