| The best Christmas present ever! |
| Todd proposed to me on Christmas Eve! It was absolutely perfect, my parents came up to meet his parents and sister and her family and everyone got along great (I already knew they would!) After we ate dinner and the kids opened presents, he proposed! I was shocked, I had no idea he was going to! But of course I said yes ;) Knowing I don't like diamonds, he gave me a jade necklace and ring and earrings that his great grandfather bought in China many, many years ago and brought back for his great grandmother. All the pieces are beautiful! I never got to meet his great grandparents in person, but I did get "introduced" to them last month in the cemetary where they are buried. Todd said his great grandmother was a great lady and would've liked me. And he started crying when he was proposing. It was so romantic... Anyway, we set a date in May and I can't wait!
