Sam is my 14 pound, seven-year-old, long-haired, orange tabby. He was born on January 4, 2001 in a trailer park in Laramie, Wyoming. He was one of three in a litter; his brother was also an orange tabby and his sister was pure white. I adopted Sam when I saw the sign for free kittens when driving home from work one day.
Sam is an avid birder. His favorite birds to watch are Stellar's Jays and California Towhees. He also enjoys watching California gray squirrels and chipmunks.
Sam warms up to people immediately, but if he finds out you're staying for a while and taking up the time of his owner, he may give you a bad time about it. But generally he has a good disposition.
His other interests include walking around the neighborhood on his leash, laying in the sunshine, and chasing moths.
