Christmas 2009
Our little tree looks good in the front window of our new house...  but I thought it was time for an upgrade so I've since bought a larger one that was marked down 75% thanks to after Christmas sales

We spent Christmas Eve with my Aunt Shirley, Uncle Jesse, and his extended family.  It was a lot of fun.  They made 45 dozen tamales!  And after dinner Santa Claus showed up.  Everyone, kids and adults alike, got to sit on Santa's lap :)  Aunt Shirley even went so far as to kiss Santa...  and that got me thinking.  Then later on I noticed Santa was wearing jeans underneath his red suit!  I thought I saw my Uncle Jesse wearing the same color jeans.  But Uncle Jesse had different shoes than Santa.  So my evidence of Santa's true identity is inconclusive...  and he must be real ;)
Now that's what I'm talking about! Lots of presents and tamales!
One of Santa's elves (they must all wear jeans at the North Pole)
Santa's here!  But not everyone is thrilled about sitting on his lap!
The kids are getting bigger

Hey, now, don't pull on my beard!
I saw Auntie kissing Santa Claus?
I asked Santa for all my friends and family to be happy :)
Santa wears jeans!
And so does Uncle Jesse!  But they wear different shoes...
Christmas morning at our house...  Todd gave me a huge present!  I also gave him a big one.  We had a bet to see who's was larger.  We measured length + width + height and turns out his was!  What was it you ask?  Cross-rails for my Jeep roof-rack :)  So next time I go on a roadtrip with more than one person we'll have plenty of room for gear!
What was in Todd's big box?  A new chair for car camping
After unwrapping gifts I wrapped up Todd, lol
After Santa leaves everyone gets the presents underneath the tree.  We got homemade fudge and kitchen gadgets
...and mildly annoyed my new cat
